Brody turns 1 month!

what a fun photoshoot! It was tons, and tons of work though! It takes a lot of hands to situate and hold, and arrange things for such a sweet, precious, perfect little person! Tomorrow, Oct.27, 2011 will be the one month birthday of Brody. It is so hard to believe it has already been a month. This past weekend, i finally held him, fed him and put him to sleep. the feeling was unbelievable! He is so soft, so good smelling, and so stinking cute! I love this little miracle. I think he is perfect. I think there is nothing in the world(except Levi, of course) that measures to the sweetness he has.

Brody Lane Manning....you are already growing way too fast. Momo wants more time with you. More time to love on you and shower you with kisses.
I am so thankful God sent you to be a part of my life..

Razorbacks win over Ole Miss!! 10-22-2011

Well, the weather was wonderful, and the score was too!!

We bought 4 tickets to the game, i thought it would be a great day for the GUYS to have a day out at the game.I was kinda looking forward to staying home, in a quite house, doing the laundry and cleaning the nasty house. Then on Thursday before the game, we were given 2 more tickets. All the boys were asked to invite friends but they said everyone they knew were already going! So, Rob and I sat in the "gifted" seats while the boys used the other tickets.

The game was not quite the "cake walk" everyone thought it would be.

The RAZORBACKS won 29-24

For a while it didn't look as if that was going to be the case, but they pulled it out.  The Backs were ranked in the top 10 before this game..hope this didn't hurt that standing!

The road trip part of things is always the most fun for us Mannings! Lots of fun is always had in the vehicle when we are all together!!

I love being a Manning. i love the times we share. i love my boys, my daughter-in-law, my grandsons, and my Rob!

i will ALWAYS LOVE YOU OAKLEY! (4-5-2011 to 10-7-2011)

 This Friday afternoon was just like any other. Levi was over and Rob and I were sitting outside watching you and Levi. Levi was riding his tractor round-n-round the yard...you would chase him a while, come over and chew on mine or Robs hand a while, lay on the ground and just be you..... Like always i had my camera and was shooting away! Little did i know the horrible horrible thing that would happen a couple hours later.....

Levi went home and all the guys went to out of town to watch a football game..me, well i tanned then decided to run to town to grab something for dinner. I went out to get in the car, you walked me to the car door and stuck your head inside..being the silly dog you are. I started pulling out of the drive and was dragging a couple limbs ....next thing i knew, you went to barking and crying..i had run over you! i swear i dont' remember it! i have beat myself up trying to remember the big bump it had to be, but i can't. if anything, when i got out of the jeep i was thinking i might have hit your foot!!
You ran to me as i got out of the car. You limped over to the yard and i jumped out to check on you. You would sit up some, then the more i cried and loved on you , you laid down. So, i thought if i could get you up to the house, you would perk up...i still had no idea how bad you were hurt! i ran inside and got a towel to lay you on to pull u up to the house, you just layed there and let me. When we got to the house, i ran inside to get you some water..and again it seemed like you were better if i wasn't around crying all over you. You had your front end up, you were kinda breathing heavy, but i still thought you would get up and walk off. So, i ran on to town thinking while i was gone you would try to get up and get going. All i was doing when i was by you was crying, apologizing and hugging you like crazy!  So, as i pulled back into the drive, i saw you were gone...i was so excited! i thought, yep, i was right, i just needed to quit bothering him! Then as i pulled further up into the yard, i saw you...laying there, all twisted wrong, and not moving. My whole world went crazy! You were dead. This is so so wrong!!! you are not suppose to be dead! i ran to you, and just fell on you crying!! i had not only hit you, i had killed you. My Oakley..i am so, so sorry. I loved you like crazy. You were the silliest, easy going, big ole kidd of a  dog!
I don't know what it is, but i have learned my lesson. I am not suppose to have a male Mastiff. Oakleys full brother from another litter, Boss, had an accident and died with me also. We had been playing in the yard on a Sunday afternoon and he ran off the edge of a ditch, fell about 10 feet and broke his back.  These two dogs were amazing. They have the best nature and greatest personality of any dog i have ever known. The Mastiff is a big, ferocious LOOKING dog...but from my experience, they are anything but. i had never even heard Oakley bark at anyone!
I loved  you Oakley. and i am so sad and so sorry for what happened.... i so wish i had of stayed home Friday night and not ever even thought about going to town!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Matt and Mollie became parents for the second time Sept. 27,2011. Brody Lane Manning was born @ 2:47pm on Tuesday. He is so stinking cute! He weighed 6lbs,10oz and was 20 3/4 inches long!

Levi is a big brother! He is going to be so good at his new role. 

Brody came home on Wednesday, but had to do an overnight visit again on Friday the 30th. He is jaundice and needed to "tan" for several hours to try and bring his levels down. He went home on Saturday afternoon. Today, Monday the 3rd of October...he is still a little jaundice and goes back to have his levels checked on Wednesday. I pray they drop and he is all done with this jaundice stuff!
